Using blogger platform and wants to remove Powered By Blogger attribute? It doesn’t look good though. Have an idea about add blogger attribution?

How To Remove Powered By Blogger Attribute
Currently, I know that there are three methods that you can use to remove and hide powered by a blogger.
Remove Codes
This is the simplest method you can follow, other methods might not work in 2021 but this will work.
- Login to your account
- Go to Theme
- Click on Edit HTML option under Customize
- A new page will be open
- Press CTRL+F and search for <b:section
- Delete everything that contains between <b:section and </b:section> and make sure you have chosen Attribution section correcty.
Code might look like this
After deleting it click on save and now you can see that Powered By Blogger is gone, or add blogger attribution gone.
Remove Using CSS (This method is not working with some themes)
Follow the below steps to remove attributes
- Login to your account
- Go to Theme
- Click on Edit HTML option under Customize
- A new page will be open.
- You will find 5 options on top of the page, click on the first one “Jump To Widget”
- You will find different options & click on Attribution1 or Press Ctrl+F and search “powered”
- You will find below commands
<b:widget id='Attribution1' locked='true' title='' type='Attribution'>
Change that with <b:widget id='Attribution1' locked='false' title='' type='Attribution'>
- Click on the Save button
- Go to the Layout page
- Now find and remove the Attribution widget.
How To Add Your Footer In Blogger
After removing Powered by Blogger Attribute wants to add your own? Follow the below steps to add your Footer in blogger.
Add Footer Using Widget
- Login to account
- Click on Layout
- Click on add a new Gadget/Widget (You can find the option in the footer area but if it is not there then search for somewhere else.)
- Choose HTML/JavaScript option
- Enter your details for example “<p align=”center”>www.siteurl.com</p>” to display yourtexthere.
Add Footer Using Code
- Login to Account
- Go to Theme
- Go to Edit HTML
- Search for Attribution
- Find <b:section & </b:section>
- Write your footer code in between them
- Save Theme
Conclusion:- Removing default attribution will not help you to get anything extra. But if you want to add your own custom attribution then it will help you to look your site good and a bit professional.
